Job summary

Motel One Germany BetriebsGmbH in Edinburgh is seeking a Bartender to welcome guests, tend the bar and One Lounge, and deliver a seamless service.

You will help organise bar standards with the department manager, advise customers, and actively upsell One Lounge products to meet sales budgets. The role offers onboarding, annual trainings, staff discounts across Europe and the USA, and opportunities to develop within our growing hotel group.

Thanks to your hosting skills, our guests will enjoy a wonderful stay. As well as tending the bar and One Lounge, your duties will also include the following:

• Providing a seamless, rapid service
• Helping to organise the bar service and determine all the necessary standards and schedules in cooperation with the department manager
• Providing advice to customers and actively selling Motel One Lounge products in order to achieve the One Lounge sales budget
• Helping to order food, beverages and spirits for the bar areas and take inventory at the end of the month
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams
