The Botanist Bath are hiring a Bartender

Fixed Term Contract:

We're looking for Bartenders who love great hospitality, exceptional drinks and creating memorable experiences for guests.

At The Botanist Bath, we believe hospitality is about more than serving food and drinks. It's about creating moments people remember, building genuine connections and making every guest feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

As a Bartender, you'll be at the heart of that experience. Whether you're recommending a guest's next favourite cocktail, serving drinks during a busy Friday night or helping create the atmosphere that keeps people coming back, you'll bring energy, personality and confidence to every shift.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, thrives on guest interaction and takes pride in delivering great service.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of service behind the bar.

Your role will include:

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to company standards
• Creating a warm, welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests
• Building genuine rapport and delivering memorable experiences
• Sharing knowledge of drinks, cocktails and promotions with confidence
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area
• Working efficiently during busy services while maintaining quality and consistency
• Supporting stock management and daily bar operations
• Following licensing, food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
• Working closely with the wider front-of-house team to deliver a seamless guest experience

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy making people feel welcome.

You'll ideally have experience as a Bartender, Cocktail Bartender, Bar Staff Team Member or within a customer-facing hospitality role. However, attitude, personality and a genuine passion for looking after guests are just as important as experience.

Why Join The Botanist Bath?

We believe great hospitality starts with great people, which is why we invest in our teams and create environments where people can thrive. You'll receive:

• 50% discount for you and up to 5 guests across our venues
• Free meals on shift
• Your birthday and the day after guaranteed off
• Access to TRONC through TiPJAR
• Wagestream financial wellbeing support and earned wage access
• Education subsidies to support personal development
• Confidential support through Hospitality Action
• Comprehensive training and ongoing support
