Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Class 1 Barrel Driver to join our team. You will deliver LPG in bulk to customers across the region, focusing on safety and on-time performance.

Applicants should hold a LGV Class 1 licence, ADR in Tanks, Driver CPC, and knowledge of tachograph regulations. A flexible, team-oriented approach and willingness to work nights are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Class 1 licence and ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases.
• Driver CPC and valid Tachograph Card required with knowledge of hours regs.
• Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing in all duties.
• Willingness to stay in touch with the team and be flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG in bulk to homes and businesses safely and on time.
• Drive LPG deliveries, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate routes and daily tasks.
• Stay adaptable for Nights out (Tramping) as required by depot.

Drivers are at the heart of Flogas. Powering our business, you’ll make bulk deliveries of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) on time – and above all – safely, day in and day out. Because at Flogas, if it’s not safe, it’s not done. Simple. Our Drivers work together to make sure everyone in the team understands their routes, offering assistance when needed, and helping each other get ready for the deliveries and the day ahead. What We’ll Need From You

• LGV Class 1 licence. Ideally, you’ll also have an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases.
• Driver CPC and valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to ensuring everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing is protected in all that you do
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.
• A flexible approach to helping our customers as Nights out (Tramping) will be required as part of this role (Depending on Depot)
