Job summary

Flogas is looking for a Cylinder Driver (Class 2) to deliver LPG cylinders to homes and businesses across the region. You’ll work on open roads, build relationships with regular customers, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries as part of a supportive team.

You’ll need a LGV Class 2 licence, ideally ADR gases in Class 2, and a Driver CPC with tachograph knowledge. We emphasise safety, customer service, and flexible collaboration across this field role.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 2 licence is required; ADR in class 2 gases supported for training if not held currently.
• Driver CPC and valid Tachograph Card with knowledge of driving hours and tachograph rules.
• Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to stay in touch with the team and adapt to flexible routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders on time to regular customers and new faces.
• Maintain safety and compliance on each delivery run.
• Work autonomously yet contribute to team planning and route understanding.

How you’ll power our business as a Cylinder Driver (Class 2)

If you love driving out on the open road, delivering to regular customers who you’ll get to know, as well as a few new faces, Flogas is the place for you. Whether you’re making sure an elderly couple keep warm and cosy, helping a barbeque go with a swing, or fuelling a family holiday, you’ll make sure your customers are always connected to the energy they need, come rain or shine. We can rely on you to make LPG cylinder deliveries on time – and above all – safely, day in and day out. Because at Flogas, if it’s not safe, it’s not done. Simple. Out enjoying the freedom of the open road every day in your class 2 vehicle, you’ll take doing the right thing by your customers as seriously as we do, keeping them in the loop, and even stopping for a chat with a few of your regulars. This job is the perfect mix of autonomy and teamwork. Our Drivers work together to make sure everyone in the team understands their routes, offering assistance when needed, and helping each other get ready for the deliveries and the day ahead.

What we’ll need from you

• LGV Class 2 licence. Ideally, you’ll also have an ADR in class 2 gases, but we’ll support you to gain this if you don’t already have one.
• Driver CPC and valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to protecting everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing in all that you do
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.
