Job summary

Flogas Britain is hiring a Class 1 Barrel Driver to deliver LPG safely and on time to homes and businesses. You’ll join a collaborative team, plan routes, and maintain high safety standards in a busy delivery environment.

The role demands an LGV Class 1 licence, ADR tanks, and CPC with tachograph knowledge, plus flexibility for night shifts as required. Company benefits and training are provided to support your career progression with us.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG safely and on time to customers across assigned routes.
• Work with the team to plan routes and prepare for deliveries.
• Comply with tachograph regulations and transport safety requirements.
• Support customers with friendly, professional service and maintain vehicle condition.

Powering our business, you’ll make bulk deliveries of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) on time – and above all – safely, day in and day out. Because at Flogas, if it’s not safe, it’s not done. Simple.

Our Drivers work together to make sure everyone in the team understands their routes, offering assistance when needed, and helping each other get ready for the deliveries and the day ahead. What We’ll Need From You

• LGV Class 1 licence. Ideally, you’ll also have an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases.
• Driver CPC and valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to ensuring everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing is protected in all that you do
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.
• A flexible approach to helping our customers as Nights out (Tramping) will be required as part of this role (Depending on Depot)
