A community health service in Chipping Barnet seeks a committed administrative support professional to enhance care delivery within the Barnet Children's Integrated Therapy Service. This part-time, permanent position requires effective multitasking and excellent communication skills to manage various administrative tasks. Applicants should have at least 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics, and experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Salary ranges from £29,651 to £31,312 per year, pro rata.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of high quality professional administrative and clerical support to the Barnet Children's Integrated Therapy (BCIT) Service. The co-ordination of the patient journey is a critical factor in ensuring the timely and effective delivery of care and this role provides a means of improving the quality of that care for individual patients as well as providing comprehensive support to the BCIT Service. The post holder will facilitate good communication between the service, service users and other professionals. The post holder will provide a flexible administrative support service as required by workload demands and agree priorities in liaison with the Admin Manager
The post holder must have good data input and general keyboard/word processing skills.
Responsible for processing requests for information (telephone/written and internal/external) in a professional, polite and appropriate manner, ensuring that all messages are concisely relayed and actioned if required; make judgements about the urgency of such calls.
The post holder must have a flexible and responsive approach to the varying demands of the post.
To work in an efficient, effective and timely manner and be adaptable to change.
To follow agreed protocols and policies seeking advice where appropriate.

The post holder will be expected to carry out other duties commensurate with the grade as directed.
Signpost team members, children and parents/carers to relevant services, ensuring information is updated regularly.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
