A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 8b Psychology lead to work across the Barnet CAMHS Teams at Holly Oak Clinic, Edgware Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

  • Lead psychological therapy pathways and model-driven interventions in collaboration with senior clinicians.
  • Manage appraisals and supervision for psychology staff within the borough CAMHS service.
  • Lead the monthly Psychology Meeting and deputise for the CAMHS Consultant Clinical Psychologist when needed.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines, ensuring governance of psychological therapy practice.
  • Utilise research skills for audit, policy, and service development.
  • Propose and implement policy changes within the service and Trust-wide forums.

This role is within the multidisciplinary CAMHS 0–18 service, providing assessments and interventions for families in Barnet.

  • Recognised clinical supervision training.
