Barista

Hours: Full-time & Part-time Salary: £13.00 p/h + Tips (approx £2 p/h)

Elwin is an independent cafe opened in May 2022. In our short existence, we have established a strong customer base of regulars, students and friendly passer bys.

We are looking for an experienced baristas and all-rounders to join us in our small Bloomsbury location. Ideal candidates will thrive in fast-paced environments, be competent in speciality coffee, and fit in with our small but mighty team. Your role will be dynamic, sometimes putting out consistent coffee with great latte art, other times chatting with customers about our daily quiz question, or serving up delicious pastries.

We serve Ozone coffee on our La Marzocco Linea PB and some guest single origins on filter. We offer support for growing your coffee skills. We are open Monday-Friday (7:30-5) and Saturday (9-5), closed Sunday.

About this role:

Full-time & Part-time (20-35 hours per week) Immediate start Available on weekends Experience in speciality coffee (dialing in, pulling shots, steaming milk, latte art) Familiarity with coffee machine and grinder maintenance knowledge Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments Must be punctual and reliable
