We are looking for a Baristato join us at Newcastle United Football Clubs Training Ground.

A few things about you

Our Front of House team is at the heart of everything we do, so it’s important that fantastic customer service is always at the forefront! If you are a friendly, and approachable individual with great communication skills, this would be the perfect role for you!

Role Responsibility
  • Operate coffee machines and other café equipment with confidence and care.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas and speciality items to a high standard.
  • To serve food and beverages to players and staff at the NUFC training ground.
  • To assist with all necessary preparation, cleardown and cleaning.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to agreed food and beverage standards.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Sodexo polices specifically relating to management of Health & Safety.
  • Assist with setup prior to player/staff arrival, ensuring all necessary equipment is in place.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking and inventory checks to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
  • Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or inline with any reasonable request.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, and follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a ‘Can do’ attitude, and ability to work within a team.
  • Experience working front of house, with the capability to deliver the highest quality customer service.
  • Ability to work efficiently, and thrive within a busy environment.
  • The ability to memorise orders
  • Barista trained
  • Experience working within sports and leisure/stadium.
Package Description
  • 40 hours per week.
  • £12.60 per hour
  • 5 Days out of 7 Per Week
  • Many employee benefits, rewards and recognition.
  • This position is dependant on a DBS check.
