Job summary

SSP Group, operating Starbucks at Leeds Bradford Airport, is recruiting a Barista on a fixed-term contract until December 2026. The role pays £12.85 per hour, plus a night incentive of £1.20, bringing the rate to £14.05 per hour.

Shifts run from 2am to 11pm, across weekdays, weekends and holidays. We value energetic hospitality staff with prior experience and 18+ for certain tasks including alcohol service.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• Must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks and be able to sell and handle alcohol.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Passion for learning new drinks and beverages.
• Share product knowledge with customers and create bespoke beverages on request.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a smile.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming unit at all times.

Pay Rate: £12.85 per hour+ as a little incentive, you will earnanextra £1.20 per hourfor hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing yourrate of pay to£14.05 per hour.

Shift pattern between 2am and 11pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.Shifts may extend until the final flight departure, including during occasional flight delays.

ABOUT YOU:

• You buzz off working with people, staying active and having a laugh along the way.
• You’re positive, kind, and bring good energy to every shift.
• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• Due to some responsibilities within theBaristarole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and be able to sell and handle alcohol.
• You have previous hospitality experience.
