BLAS is the newest addition to Victoria Park, located at Shore Place, adjacent to the Sunday market. We are a young and energetic owner-led team, building an inclusive brand that welcomes all and makes a positive impact on the community.
BLAS prides itself on warm and friendly customer service, high-quality coffee and ingredients, and loyalty towards our team, customers, and suppliers.
As a new business, we are looking for a barista to grow with us. Ongoing training will be available for motivated team players who can help us achieve our goals. Team welfare is put first, and we will always do everything in our power to ensure our staff are happy and looked-after, allowing them to achieve their full potential.
Our kiosk is open 8am-4pm, although this will change seasonally. Working hours can be flexible, and the ideal candidate will be able to offer a similar degree of flexibility to us. We want to empower team members and allow them to progress in all areas of the business, and we are keen to work with a barista who has the skillset and passion to contribute to our exciting coffee program. We collaborate with Formative for our house offering along with guest roasters.

Barista requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience working with specialty coffee
- ‘People person’ i.e. showing empathy and patience, with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Happy to help in all areas of the business
- Willingness to work as part of a loyal, friendly team
- Initiative to work without supervision
