Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for their UK hospitality team in Cambourne. You will greet customers, prepare a range of beverages, share menu insights, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Role involves cash handling, basic food prep, and supporting daily operations in a busy cafe environment, with a strong emphasis on service quality and guest experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use till systems for payments and orders.

• Support team with other tasks as required.

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Help with daily basic food prep and maintaining a clean kitchen spaces
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
