Job summary

Pastada London is a family-run café-bakery in Bayswater, seeking a friendly All-Rounder/Barista to join the team. This hands-on position blends barista skills with floor duties, offering a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will work with a close-knit team, delivering warm hospitality, maintaining high standards, and growing in specialty coffee and hospitality knowledge. Weekend flexibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or working in a café environment.
• Confident with espresso machines and milk texturing techniques.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and proactive.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Good understanding of food hygiene practices.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to Pastada standards
• Provide warm, attentive customer service at all times
• Assist with taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, front-of-house, and service areas
• Support the kitchen and team with general duties when needed
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Ensure a welcoming environment for all guests
