Overview

We are Edinburgh's newest brunch spot - offering filled brioche, french toast and hash browns. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Barista and Front of House server to join our team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive prompt, friendly service while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Our format is a walk-up-to-order, meaning orders are taken behind the bar, but food is served to guests by hand.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating excellent knowledge of the menu.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Manage cash transactions with basic math skills, ensuring accuracy in handling payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
Qualifications
