Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Barista to craft beautifully prepared drinks for a major High Street brand. The role is 10 hours per week with variable shifts and progression opportunities within a large company.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in coffee brewing and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing drinks and serving high-quality food.
• Keeping the bar area clean.
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards).
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Representing Compass and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
