Job summary

Compass Group UK is recruiting a driven Barista on a part-time basis (12 hours per week) to craft high-quality coffees for a major High Street brand. You will deliver first-class service, handle payments, and keep the bar area tidy while learning brewing methods and beverage presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality beverages.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized.
• Handle payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and effective communicator.
• Maintain stock of mugs and utensils.
• Learn about brewing methods, blends, and presentation techniques.
• Check equipment operation and report maintenances as needed.
• Represent the Costa brand and uphold its image.
• Comply with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
