Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a driven Barista on a part-time basis (8 hours per week) to craft beautifully prepared drinks for a major High Street brand. You will deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers, with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards those who go beyond the plate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is required.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality food to delight customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and well organised.
• Process payments (cash and card) efficiently.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates and assist with prep.
• Learn about brewing methods and presentation techniques.
• Ensure equipment operates properly and report issues.
• Represent Costa and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 8 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
