Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a driven Barista to craft beverages for Costa across 6,000 venues, offering hands-on service and career progression. This part-time role is contracted to 30 hours per week, with shifts including early mornings and weekends, and a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality coffees and excellent customer experience.

You will maintain a clean bar area, handle payments, learn brewing methods, and collaborate with a friendly team to uphold Costa's brand standards and Food

• Maintain stock of mugs, plates and brewing supplies.
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends, food prep and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment operates correctly and report maintenance needs.
• Represent Costa and uphold the brand image.
• Comply with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
