Job description

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part-time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. You'll be given every opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards employees who go beyond expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality food that delights customers
• Keep the bar area clean and organized
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Be an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, and food presentation techniques
• Check brewing equipment operation and report maintenance needs
• Represent Costa and maintain a positive brand image
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Follow Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate

• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Previous experience in customer service
• Motivated and eager to strive for excellence
• Proactive, with good decision-making skills for customer satisfaction
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Reliable with exceptional timekeeping
