Job summary

Compass Group in Brighton is recruiting a driven Barista to deliver first-class coffee and beverages in a high-volume environment. This full-time role (40 hours per week) requires warm customer service and a passion for brewing excellence.

You will learn beverage blends, maintain clean service areas, handle payments, and contribute to a positive brand image across Universities venues. Progress within a company that values people and development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high-quality beverages.
• Keep the bar area clean and well stocked.
• Process payments (cash and cards) accurately.
• Learn brewing methods and beverage presentation.
• Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Deliver first-class service to Universities' clients.

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Universities and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

• We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Universities on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.
