NHS Scotland is recruiting for a Barista Assistant to work primarily in Highlands Table coffee bars. The role involves serving customers efficiently and maintaining high quality standards. Ideal candidates should possess strong customer service skills and be willing to obtain an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate within 3 months.

You will be based mainly in one of the Highlands Table coffee bars. Your responsibilities include serving a high volume of customers while maintaining high standards of quality and service. The ideal candidate will have experience working in similar establishments with a team of baristas and possess a 'can do' attitude. You will ensure prompt, efficient service, quality beverages, and a friendly, clean environment for customers.
Applicants should have good interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team. An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable; full training will be provided, and you will be expected to obtain this certificate within 3 months if not already held.
You will need to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct during employment.
