Mint People is seeking a Barista for a prestigious 5-star luxury resort located just outside Cheltenham. The role focuses on delivering premium beverages and exceptional guest service within a world-class hospitality setting.

You will join cafe, lounge, and F&B outlets, creating memorable guest experiences while upholding luxury standards. Immediate start and live-in accommodation are available, with shifts mainly during daytime hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous Barista experience is preferred.
• Experience within a luxury hotel, resort, café, or hospitality environment would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation and milk texturing techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving a wide range of specialty coffees, teas, and hot beverages to 5-star standards.
• Operating and maintaining professional espresso machines and coffee equipment.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and engaging positively with guests.
• Ensuring consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality.
• Taking orders accurately and processing payments where required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and service areas.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and replenishment.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Recommending beverages, pastries, and other menu items to guests.
• Supporting colleagues across food and beverage operations during busy periods.
• Ensuring all guest interactions reflect the high standards expected within a luxury resort environment.

The Role
