Job summary

Inspire, operated by CH&CO (Compass Group UK&I), is seeking a driven Barista for a part-time role contracted to 32 hours per week. You will craft drinks, deliver exceptional service, and support a positive brand image. The position offers training, development opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates will bring prior customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality beverages.
• Keep the bar area clean and well-organised.
• Process payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and clear communicator.
• Manage stock of mugs, plates and beverage ingredients.
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends and food presentation techniques.
• Check equipment operation and report maintenance needs.
• Represent Inspire and uphold the brand image.
• Adhere to Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Inspire on a part time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Inspire and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
