Starbucks in Southampton is hiring a barista to bring joy to customers through handcrafted beverages and friendly service. You’ll join a team focused on quality, consistency, and building connections with guests.

No prior experience required; full training provided via Starbucks Global Academy. Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with opportunities for career progression within the company.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers in line with our recipe and presentation standards
• Supporting store procedures including opening or closing the store, cash handling, and safety and security
• Supporting fellow partners during high volume periods to keep the store operating
• Anticipating and delivering on customer and store needs by getting to know the store environment and customers
• Delivering legendary customer service by putting the customer first and creating genuine connections
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace for customers and partners

You don’t need previous experience to join us as a barista, all we ask is you bring a passion for bringing joy to our customers. Working in a Starbucks store is different from any other job. You’re creating genuine moments of connection with our customers and making a difference to their day, through creating handcraft delicious beverages and building relationships with our customers by getting to know their favourite drink.
