Job description

The Barista will oversee the bar area, supporting the team to deliver exceptional service, creating and maintaining drink and service standards while driving sales through upselling and encouraging repeat visits.

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Working 5 days over 7

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other drinks to customers.
• Make an exceptional cup of coffee, with good knowledge of coffee machines and grinders.
• Set up the coffee bar and fill fridges with bought-in products.
• Take payments accurately.
• Manage stock rotation, temperature checks, and allergen management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and display cases.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in coffee preparation and serving.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
• Efficient food preparation skills.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent time management skills for timely service.
