Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and take orders with attention to detail (e.g. coffee blend, milk preference, sweetness level)
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including espresso, lattes, teas, and specialty drinks
  • Recommend drinks and upsell special menu items
  • Handle payments (cash and card) accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, and seating spaces
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies like mugs, beans, and pastries
  • Ensure brewing equipment is functioning and report maintenance needs
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Communicate customer feedback to management
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred
  • Hands-on knowledge of brewing equipment and drink preparation
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; barista training is a plus
