Job description

Our newly opened coffee shop requires skilled and passionate baristas. As the business grows, we will reward our staff and aim to become the best coffee shop Camberwell has seen.

We use a Victoria Arduino Black Eagle volumetric machine, alongside Mythos One grinder.

You will be responsible for providing great, genuine customer service while producing drinks to a consistently high standard. This role is primarily for a barista, but we also employ all-rounders who are willing to assist in daily café operations, ensuring compliance with company standards across all areas.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, customer relations, following Health & Safety procedures, and working as part of a team efficiently and reliably.

Ideally, you will live nearby and be able to arrive promptly for early shifts without relying on public transport.

Addressing most customers by name and engaging with them about their day helps create a welcoming atmosphere. We are located near Kings College Hospital, so we anticipate a lot of passing trade from hospital employees.

Since weekends are our busiest time, full availability every day is essential. A part-time position will likely include working both weekend days, excluding booked holidays.

Our opening hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 7 am – 5 pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 9 am – 3 pm

Pay ranges from £14.00 to £15.00 per hour.
