Purpose of the role

We’re looking for baristas to join us for the summer at Origin, with potential for longer-term roles.

You’ll work across our Roastery Café in Porthleven and our new opening in Marazion. This is hands-on speciality coffee, with consistent quality, great service, and a real focus on customer connection.

What you’ll do

• Serve exceptional coffee, every time.
• Share your knowledge and help customers discover more.
• Look after your space and your team.
• Represent Origin’s values of provenance, transparency and care.
• Bring energy and positivity, making hospitality feel good for everyone.

What we’re looking for

• Passion for coffee and hospitality.
• A calm, focused approach under pressure.
• A natural storyteller who connects with people.
• You understand that great service should feel warm, relaxed and fun, without ever dropping standards.
• Previous experience behind the bar helps but attitude matters most.

The detail

• Seasonal role (summer 2025), with potential to go permanent.
• Based across both sites so you’ll need your own transport.
• Daytime hours, no late nights.
