Peabody is seeking a passionate Barista to join the Darwin Court Community Centre cafe in London. You will deliver high-quality beverages and light food, creating a welcoming environment for centre users, visitors and staff.

This is a zero-hours role with hours offered as needed, guaranteed 4 hours per week. You’ll handle orders, payments, restock, maintain hygiene, and may take on Fire Warden or First Aider duties.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service environment
• A Level 2 food hygiene certificate or above (desirable)
• A passion for great food and drink, and delivering excellent customer service
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Flexibility to work additional paid hours when required.

Our Vacancy

We’re looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our coffee bar team at Darwin Court Community Centre. In this role, you’ll help deliver a high-quality and responsive retail service to all centre users, visitors, and employees. You’ll be at the heart of creating a welcoming environment, serving delicious drinks and food with enthusiasm and care. Whether it’s preparing a perfect espresso or keeping the coffee bar clean and well-stocked, you’ll play a key part in ensuring every customer enjoys a great experience.

This is a zero-hours contract position, providing cover for staff absence due to holiday or sickness. Hours will be offered on an as-needed basis. Guaranteed 4 hours per week

What you’ll do
