Job summary

Birley Bakery is seeking a Barista for a fixed-term contract during the Christmas period in London. The role offers exposure to a high-end bakery environment with shift work across a 42.5-hour week.

The contract runs from 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2026, with shifts from 6am to 8pm across Monday to Sunday, and a generous benefits package including holidays, discounts, and health cover.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista in a similar environment is desirable.
• Excellent team player, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and various beverages with consistency and care.
• Assist with the opening and closing of the Bakery.
• Take guest orders, and ensure you manage till transactions smoothly.
• Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring seamless guest service.
• Maintain stock rotation and inventory standards.

We are now looking for aBarista to join our team on a fixed-term contract from 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2026 during the Christmas period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a busy, high-end bakery during our festive season.

Working hours:

• 42.5 hours a week
• Shifts on a rota basis (Bakery is open from Monday-Sunday)
• Shifts ranging between 6am-8pm
• Fixed contract from 1st October- 31st December
