Job summary

Starbucks in Consett is seeking a friendly Barista to join our team. You will create memorable customer experiences, prepare iconic drinks and help maintain a fast, welcoming store environment. Full training is provided for those new to hospitality, with opportunities for career progression and access to a large online learning library.

• Previous customer service or barista experience is helpful but not essential; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive customer experience.
• Prepare beverages and food to Starbucks standards.
• Recommend products and assist store sales through confident up-selling.
• Operate tills and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
• Monitor product quality and temperature records.
• Support the team during busy periods and cover key trading times.
