Job summary

Coffi Lab Ltd in Cardiff's Llandaff team seeks a friendly Barista to provide prompt service and craft coffee that delights customers. The role is part-time (about 24 hours across roughly 3 days per week) with rotating shifts starting as early as 6:30am and finishing around 6:30pm.

Full training and support will be provided, and experience in high-volume hospitality is desirable but not essential. A fun, welcoming environment includes visits from our friendly four-legged customers.

Job description

Our wonderful Coffi Lab Baristas are central to the creation of the exceptional customer experience that we strive for. Providing prompt service and great tasting coffee in a warm, friendly and engaging manner.

If you are looking to join a company with heart, with the added bonus of daily visits from our friendly, four-legged customers, this could be the opportunity for you.

We are looking for someone to join our Llandaff team working approximately 3 days per week (24hrs). We are open 7 days per week and so we look for as much flexibility as possible. Rotas are prepared at least a week in advance. Our Team Members each work their share of open and close shifts.The open shifts starts as early as 6:30am and the close shift finishes around 6:30pm. All of our Baristas are paid £12.75 per hour.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:

• Delighting every customer with our magnificent Coffi Lab customer service.
• Crafting consistently beautiful coffee with basic latte art (following recipe and presentation standards and understanding all milks served).
• Helping your team to keep the store spotless - ensuring that it is a nice place to both work in and visit.
• The stores can be busy and so you will need to multitask and follow processes in order to maintain both speed of service and quality of product.

Experience within a high-volume retail, hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential. Previous coffee experience is also desirable, however full training and support will be provided.
