Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting a Barista for a full-time role, contracted to 37.5 hours per week, in the United Kingdom. You will craft coffees and serve food, while delivering first-class service and maintaining a clean, welcoming bar area.

The job involves handling payments, learning brewing methods, and upholding brand standards. Applicants should be strong communicators, team players and able to work under pressure, with a passion for excellent guest experience and adherence to hygiene

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and serve high-quality drinks to customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and stocked.
• Process payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and effective communicator.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends, food prep and presentation.
• Check equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Represent a major High Street brand and uphold its image.
• Comply with Food Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing a major High Street brand and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
