Job summary

OneRetail is seeking a driven Barista on a part-time basis (16 hours per week) in Gloucester to craft beverages and deliver excellent customer service. You will work in a busy environment for a major High Street brand, learning brewing methods and maintaining brand standards.

You should be a strong communicator with prior customer service experience, capable of working under pressure, and a reliable team player who takes initiative and cares about quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food to a high standard.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized.
• Handle payments (cash/credit cards) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and communicate effectively.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn brewing methods, blends, food prep and presentation.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Represent a major High Street brand and uphold its image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety rules.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing a major High Street brand and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
