Trading Post Coffee Roasters in Brighton is seeking a skilled Barista with a passion for coffee, precision, and high-volume service.

You will craft specialty espresso, steam milk to perfection, and advise customers on brewing methods while maintaining our quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, quality coffee environment.

Responsibilities

• Dial in grinders for all blends and origins to the brand standard.
• Open and close the coffee section independently.
• Maintain speed of service, coffee quality and consistency in a fast-paced venue.
• Pour basic latte art and understand alternative milks.
• Learn and assist across all venue operations as part of the team.
• Be a positive face of the brand, bringing energy and motivation.
• Deliver hospitality with personality within the standards framework.

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is an artisan coffee roasting and hospitality business that, since opening in 2017, has expanded to serve freshly roasted coffee, brunch, and cocktails across Brighton and Sussex.

We arelooking for a skilled Barista with top attention to detail, efficiency andcleanliness along with a genuine passion for all things coffee. You will havesome experience in a high-volume, quality coffee environment, serving specialtyespresso and pouring expertly steamed milk. You will also be comfortableworking with our top-of-the-range machines and grinders and develop a strongunderstanding of at-home brewing methods to be able to advise your customers.
