About Gordon’s Tearoom

Gordon’s Tearoom is one of the oldest establishments in the village of Braemar, serving delicious home-cooked meals, snacks, teas, and coffees. The Tearoom is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering fixed days off and guaranteed shifts.

Job Opportunity: Barista

We are recruiting a Barista to join our small team. This is a 32-hour contract.

You will be involved in preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean workspace, and handling cash transactions. Full training on the coffee machine will be provided.

You’ll be surrounded by a small team with a creative flair, passionate about excellent service, and eager to learn and grow.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Initiative, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH.
• The right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor work visas).
