A major financial institution in Glasgow seeks a Stress Testing Senior Manager to lead stress testing initiatives and manage financial risks. The ideal candidate will have a professional accountancy qualification and experience in stress testing or financial planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with effective communication with senior stakeholders. This role plays a crucial part in meeting financial commitments and regulatory engagements.
As a Barclays Stress Testing Senior Manager, you will be involved with leading a range of tasks primarily focused on Stress Testing, including scenario and sensitivity analysis. Your role will support the team’s wider deliverables, including transformation programmes and other Barclays Europe (BE) initiatives. You will provide accurate and insightful input to aid decision-making and support BE in meeting its financial commitments and regulatory engagements.
Key Accountabilities:
To be considered, you should have experience in stress testing or financial planning, with a solid understanding of finance and investment banking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage workload effectively, and experience analyzing P&L and balance sheet data are essential. Clear communication of complex issues to senior stakeholders is required. A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience is preferred.
