City Social, one of the best restaurants and cocktail bars in London requires a dedicated and hard working new member of the team. We are part of the Social Company by chef Jason Atherton - one of the fastest growing and high quality restaurant groups in the country.
The position available is Bar Back, which involves supporting the bartenders with everything they need in order to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Duties include, preparing garnishes and fresh juices, re-stocking fridges, polishing glasses, making basic drinks (pouring Beers, wines, soft drinks), assisting to prepare home made ingredients such as batches, infusions and syrups and basic food items (for example cheese plates).
There is huge development opportunity for the person with the right work ethic and attitude to learn more and progress into a bartender role in time.
Requirements of the position are;
* Outgoing and friendly personality - we are a young dynamic team
* Strong work ethic
* Manual handling ability a must
* Attention to detail
* Punctuality

* Drive and initiative
Desirable:
* Some experience in high-end restaurants and/or bars.
We have extremely high standards coming from a Michelin starred environment so the candidate will need to adapt to this style quickly. Quick progression within the company is possible for the right person.
This position is permanent full-time and salaried with an immediate start. The restaurant and bar is located in the City of London. Our bar and restaurant is always closed on Sundays and all bank holidays. We are looking for future or current hospitality professionals, no time wasters please.
