The Ivy Collection and The Ivy Asia are opening in Newcastle, seeking a Barback to join founding teams in a high-profile hospitality project. You will welcome guests, take drink orders, and help with stock and ordering while upholding hygiene standards behind the bar.

You should be a hands-on team player with a genuine passion for food and drinks, delivering friendly, professional service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bar environment.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.

Key elements of your role as a Barback will include welcoming customers, taking drink orders, and making recommendations. You will support with stock taking and ordering supplies, and always uphold the standards of cleanliness and hygiene behind the bar.
