Job summary

The Grasshopper is seeking bar & waiting staff for the season, with full or part-time hours and a potential extension. Starting pay is £13.11 per hour with a future increase to £13.45 after six months. Benefits include 60% off meals on duty and shared tips, plus a supportive team in a prominent Poole venue.

Experience in a busy bar or restaurant helps, but enthusiasm and reliability are valued. This fixed-term role ends 31/01/27, with prospects to become permanent based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar or waiting roles is advantageous but not required.
• Natural host who enjoys creating memorable moments and great guest service.
• Able to travel to the venue and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and take food orders in a busy, food-led environment.
• Provide friendly, attentive guest interaction and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain standards, assist in the smooth running of service periods.
