Job summary

The Beach House, a Hall & Woodhouse destination pub on the seafront near Lymington, is expanding its Front of House team for the season and beyond. We're seeking enthusiastic Bar & Waiting staff for full or part-time hours, aged 18+, with flexible shifts and a friendly, motivated attitude.

Starting pay £13.11 per hour, with a rise to £13.45 after 6 months, plus 60% meals off on duty and tips sharing. This fixed-term role ends 31/01/27 with the possibility to go permanent depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar or waiting roles is an advantage but not required.
• You are a natural host who creates memorable moments for guests.
• Aged 18+ as you will be serving alcohol unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and food at the bar and to tables in a busy environment.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and guest experience.

Beautiful Beach House - On the Seafront
Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of destination pubs and inns, the Grade II listed Beach House near Lymington was built in 1897 for Alexander Siemens (who created the world’s first public electricity supply at Godalming) as a summer house for his family. Formerly known as Westover Hall, Hall & Woodhouse renamed it ‘The Beach House’ in 2012. Built in the Arts and Crafts style it was once judged the most luxurious residence on England’s south coast. With fantastic raised patio areas and extensive gardens the pub also boasts over 200 outside covers and affords great views across to the Isle of Wight.
