Job summary

Monmouth Ash, part of the Hall & Woodhouse family, is recruiting Front of House staff for Verwood. Join a friendly, community-focused pub with great pay and benefits. Roles can be full or part time, with flexible hours and potential for permanence beyond the season.

Starting pay is £13.11/hour for over 18s or £9.50/hour for under 18s. There is a 60% meals discount on duty and opportunities to earn tips and rewards, with a pay rise to £13.45/hour after 6 months for over 18s.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar or waiting roles is advantageous, especially in a busy food-led environment.
• Natural host with a friendly, confident demeanor and attention to detail.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel to the venue if needed.

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of exceptional community pubs, located in the town of Verwood between the New Forest and Cranborne Chase, the Monmouth Ash is a perfect example of a friendly, quality English village pub. Steeped in history it still has a lot of its original features like the traditional oak beams, open fires and flagstone floors. The pub's name, unique in Britain, commemorates the 1685 capture of the Duke of Monmouth (Charles II's bastard son) in Verwood, after his rebellion was defeated.

We're growing our Front of House team and are looking for enthusiastic Bar & Waiting staff to join us for the season and maybe beyond. Whether you're seeking full or part time work, we offer flexible hours that fit around your life.
