Job summary

Greene King is seeking enthusiastic Bar & Waiting Staff to create memorable experiences for customers in our Hungry Horse pubs. You’ll be pouring drinks, recommending options, and helping guests enjoy meals with a warm welcome from a friendly, inclusive team.

You will contribute to a lively environment, maintain safety and quality standards, and develop your skills through our apprenticeship and training pathways across our well-known brands.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and expand your skills.
• Great eye for detail to ensure every pint is poured to perfection.
• Passion for giving great service and making customers feel welcome.
• Positive can-do attitude and team spirit.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the insider behind the bar, offering recommendations to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine with us.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
