Job summary

Greene King is seeking Bar & Waiting Staff to create memorable experiences for customers in our pubs. You’ll pour pints, make drink recommendations, and help maintain a welcoming, safe bar environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and grow in a hospitality role.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate drink preparation and service.

• Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and follow allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and pour or serve drinks.
• Recommend drinks and upsell to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly.
• Assist with food service when needed and maintain a clean, safe bar area.

Qualifications

As a member of our Bar & Waiting Staff, you will…

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the insider behind the bar, offering recommendations to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine with us.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
