Job summary

Greene King is seeking Bar & Waiting Staff to create memorable moments for customers, pouring pints and recommending drinks. You’ll join a fun, inclusive team where you can grow and strengthen your skills while looking after guests in our Chef & Brewer pubs.

This role focuses on delivering great service, maintaining a safe, clean bar, greeting diners, and helping with food service. Training and development are offered to help you shine.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and bar service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain bar area safely and cleanly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Pour and present drinks to spec and upsell where appropriate.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after guests while they dine.
• Keep the bar area safe, legal, and clean at all times.
• Provide recommendations and maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

As a member of our Bar & Waiting Staff, you will…

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the insider behind the bar, offering recommendations to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine with us.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
