This role has a starting rate of £12.25 per hour. On successful completion of probation, you will receive an increase to £12.75 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the hotel at any time.
- Ensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
- Be responsible for the section of service you are given and complete the work to the highest standard expected.
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated with the utmost hospitality and care during their stay — aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
- Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards for 5-star service.
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
- Make guests aware of promotions on our food and drink range through training and self-study.
- Assist in setting up any functions or events according to procedures.
- Carry out work for any function or event as instructed by your line manager.
- Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, ensuring accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Present the company and yourself professionally at all times while linked to Boringdon Hall.
- Maintain the highest hygiene standards in personal presentation and manner.
- Ensure key legislation is followed and complied with.
- Minimize and professionally handle all complaints as per policies.
- Foster good working relationships with other departments and communicate effectively throughout the hotel.
- Understand responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
