This role has a starting rate of £12.25 per hour. On successful completion of probation period, you will receive an increase to £12.75 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the Hotel at any time.
  • Ensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
  • Be responsible for your section of service and complete work to the highest standard expected.
  • Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated with the utmost hospitality and care during their stay.
  • Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
  • Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting 5-star standards.
  • Stay updated with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
  • Make guests aware of promotions on our food and drink range.
  • Assist in any function or event setups according to procedures.
  • Carry out work for functions or events as instructed by your line manager.
  • Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy.
  • Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence.
  • Present the company and yourself professionally at all times while linked to Boringdon Hall.
  • Maintain the highest hygiene standards in personal presentation and manner.
  • Ensure key legislation is followed.
  • Minimize and handle complaints professionally according to policies.
  • Maintain good relationships with all departments and communicate effectively.
  • Understand responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
