Job summary

Away Resorts is recruiting for the 2026 season at Tattershall Lakes, Lincolnshire. Seasonal roles in our bars and restaurants require a friendly, proactive team player who can delight guests with attentive service throughout their stay.

You'll handle orders, serve behind the bar, and ensure clean, sanitised areas while helping create memorable experiences. Bank holidays and flexible hours are part of the role, with plenty of holiday perks available.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ eligibility.
• Experience in customer service is desirable.
• Thrives in fast-paced bar/restaurant environments.
• Works well in a team and takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and take orders.
• Serve at the bar and provide table service.
• Keep the area clean, stocked and sanitised per protocols.
• Ensure guests are having a great time and assist during busy periods.
• Be flexible to holiday bank holiday shifts.

What we need in a nutshell

We are now recruiting for our 2026 season across various roles! We need someone who understands that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests’ every whim when they eat, drink and relax in our bars and restaurants. Please note that applicants must be18 years or olderto be eligible for this role.

Who are we?

Sandy Balls Holiday Village is a world away from your day to day, with more trees than you can… well, shake a stick at. We have resident alpacas, a bush-craft school and forest laser tag, along with the usual holiday heroes of cycling and swimming. But New Forest holidays are also about tranquillity, which is why our Retreat spa and cosy, cottage-style lodges and caravans are here to help our guests unwind.

What you’ll be doing

We’re not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from the day-to-day and our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn.

This includes:

• Meeting and greetings guests with a friendly welcome
• Taking food orders and making sure everyone gets what they asked for
• Serving behind the bar and delivering excellent table service
• Keeping your area clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Ensuring areas are sanitised in line with protocols
• Generally making sure everybody is having a great time

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person. One more thing…holidays happenat holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
• Have customer service experience and skills
• Relish the fast pace of a busy bar or restaurant
• Be someone who does things without needing to be asked
• Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
• Have experience of working in a team
