We're looking for a Bar Supervisor to join Bartholomew's at London Museum, opening its doors on 28 November in the heart of historic Smithfield, bringing together thousands of years of London's history through world-class events, experiences and hospitality.
We are looking for a Bar Supervisor who loves bringing places to life, naturally connects with people and leads from the floor. Someone who gets genuine satisfaction from seeing familiar faces return, remembers people's names and favourite drinks, and takes pride in helping a team deliver brilliant hospitality. You'll be curious about cocktails, food and drink, and excited to share the stories behind what we serve.
Bartholomew's will be a contemporary London bar inspired by the energy of the city, with an evolving cocktail menu curated by Mr Lyan Studio alongside London-made serves, draught beer and elevated pub classics.
If you're excited by the idea of helping shape a bar that becomes a favourite London destination, we'd love to hear from you.
Operations. Take the lead on shift, keeping the bar running smoothly and maintaining high standards of service, presentation and quality throughout the day.
People. Lead by example, organising and supporting the bar team, coaching colleagues during service and creating a positive environment built around great hospitality.
Cocktails and Product. Bring our drinks offer to life, ensuring cocktails and serves are delivered consistently while building the team's knowledge and confidence around the stories behind our menus.
Bar Performance. Support stock control, minimise waste and keep an eye on product availability and service efficiency, helping the wider management team deliver a well run and commercially strong bar.
Guest Experience. Be a visible presence on the floor and behind the bar, building relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and creating the kind of experience that brings people back.
Since 2008, our Makers have been creating exceptional hospitality across London's restaurants, cafés, bars, workplaces and event venues. Nearly 20 years on, that spirit still defines who we are: independent, hands-on, and committed to doing hospitality differently.
Committed to diversity, equality, and inclusivity, we encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds. Please contact our People team at people@greenandfortune.co.uk should any adjustments be necessary throughout the recruitment process.
