Responsibilities

• Supervise bar staff ensuring all tasks are completed to standard.
• Ensure systems and procedures are followed as per training manual.
• Keep track of staff timekeeping and ensure correct uniform is worn.
• Conduct regular stock takes and order stock as necessary.
• Ensure stock is rotated properly and presented in a tidy manner.
• Correctly follow opening and closing procedures.

Job description

The Bar Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of the members bar and will be supervised by the Club Captain.The Bar Supervisor will lead a small team and should have experience of supervising staff as well as an understanding of bar management. The Bar Supervisor should have a working knowledge of different types of beer, wine and spirits and their delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bar staff ensuring all tasks are completed to the required standard.
• Ensure weekly/monthly checks are completed by bar staff.Make sure systems and procedures are followed as per training manual.
• Keep track of staff timekeeping for shifts and make sure correct uniform worn.
• Doing regular stock takes and ordering stock as necessary including cleaning products.
• Ensure all stock is rotated so that stock closest to its end-date is at the front and presented in a safe and tidy manner.
• Follow opening and closing procedures correctly, ensuring all staff are confident with each process.

Skills and Qualifications
